A small conundrum
Dog numbers before The Blood Diamond were the lowest of the year. Big fat 0.
However, there was a dog featured in one scene. At first I was like, "Sweet! First dog of the day!" But then my excitement ceased and I didn't know whether or not this dog counted. Sure, it was a dog alright but what if I just watched Animal Planet all day. Or a dog movie marathon. Not acceptable.
I decided it counted this time and this time only because I hadn't thought of it until the situation presented itself. After this, no filmed or televised dogs will count.
Then walking home I saw another dog.
Day 4: 2 dogs, 1 of which is a professional.

This is the best blog I have read in 2007. seriously. The suspense I felt reading- not knowing whether she would or would not count the dogs in the movie. talk about sitting at the edge of my seat.
